Take a look at the help sheet you have with it, it should somewhere give you
the address to log onto the router itself, they are slightly different I'm
afraid.

Trouble is, no software CD came with the router and in order to access the
web based user interface they talk about you need to be online and how can
you get online until you've installed the thing!

  Hi Barbara,
Basically you will need to put in your internet settings into the router.
I'm afraid I don't know the model you have so can't talk you through this
but there will be a method for you to access the configuration of the router
either by the software you get with some of these units or via a web
interface. Once you have done this it should be active.

The thing you need to remember is that with a router, the internet service
providers information is stored on the router and not on the pc.

    Barbara,
This is really a question for the BCAB list. Have a look at,

    www.bcab.org.uk

    Nigel
I think that's the right address.
