You're looking for continuous reading after only one press of the down
arrow key? I would prefer it not be that one, and I don't see a problem
using the right-shift which, after all, is a comfortable key to press.
Besides, the arrow keys are already useful in SayAll for reading a line
(SayLine) of text, which is how we want to identify a line of text, and
we sometimes need that function during SayAll. Early versions of JAWS
had, in fact, the right-shift key doing what it does now; but then that
functionality was lost for a while, until it was restored sometime in
3.x.

Just wanted to mention a possible interface idea. Has freedom and or
other
screen reader vendors ever considered using the up and down arrow keys
to
move up and down a line and keep reading when in reed all mode. In the
case
of Jaws this would be instead of the shift keys.

I think this would be more intuitive for a new user to learn.

Thanks,
Nigel
