Future upgrades will have the 5.12 as the base, so, unless you /want/ to
get left behind with any future developments or bug fixes, it is essential!
So I must do it! I /must/ remember to do it!
Unfortunately I got left behind in all this 'you have to do it through this
web site which doesn't work with the Iyonix' nonsense - when I /wanted/ to
do it JWB said 'Wait for the new web-based ordering system'; this turned
out to be a proverbial shed-load of monkeys, and I've not got round to it
since. Motivation is easily crushed!
But I /must/ do it, because otherwise I'll be stuck in a time-warp!
So, in summary, it's not the specific advantages of RISC OS 5.12 which are
necessarily important, it's the subsequent stuff built on it which means
one must upgrade.
