Changing every 1366 to 1368 (as shown below) results in a stable picture. # 1368 x 768 (60Hz) startmode mode_name:1368 x 768 x_res:1368 y_res:768 pixel_rate:81455 h_timings:136,64,60,1368,60,0 v_timings:6,29,0,768,0,3 sync_pol:3 endmode The screen quality was pretty good before, but now it's breath-taking, with every pixel of the screen memory falling exactly onto one liquid crystal. As a bonus, the aspect ratio is perfectly sorted out, with circular circles, which I think answers the question of the original poster to this topic. Many thanks to everyone for their help.
