go ahead and get the games, but the word processors, e-mail programs, 
and web browsers are for the console.  the console is the Linux command 
prompt, which i wouldn't get into until you are comfortable with your unit.

the word processor, e-mail, and web browser already on the unit are 
great.   If, for some reason, you are already familiar with Linux and 
you are comfortable with your unit, you will want to subscribe to the 
Icon-tech mailing list.  the console is not directly supported by 
Levelstar and APH, and there for, can't be discussed on this list.
To subscribe to the icon-tech list, send a blank e-mail to:
icon-tech-request@xxxxxxxxxx
and put the word subscribe in the subject line.  if you are that 
interested, there is a program called Samba.  for more information about 
the games, console, and development, subscribe to the tech list.
