Oh no, not this way - it doesn't have to be done this way.
You can migrate to a multi-user system without such things. Although
there is the possibility that some application wouldn't work, we should
have some basic rules which avoid this case.
The current BeOS way is nearly sufficient (having find=5Fdirectory(),
etc.)
