I do want to ask, though: if several people are already doing this, then
what would be the point of having the content in an external website?
I mean, he wants to have pretty much the same contents of the official
website (in a translated language, of course).
When we are at a point that people have enough trust access to the main
site, and they will only translate existing contents, wouldn't it make more
sense to actually have this translation be an official translation of the
haiku-os.org site?
I mean, if it's gonna be this way, I think this qualifies for an actual
subdomain of haiku-os.org, something like cn.haiku-os.org.
My idea of a community website is when you have a distinct focus on local
events and information (local to the region, like haiku-os.it)
