Agreed, and you bring up a valid point which I had been ignoring on purpose
- intentional lowering of quality.
I haven't found a proper answer. Maybe we should just skip, after all.
We can tell the plugin it's in realtime or offline mode. Anything else is
too complicated to generalize accurately.
