I want to thank everyone who responded to my pleas for help in Word. I am still digesting all the wonderful hints given and am so happy to also have Duxbury keystrokes to help me with this. I apologize for not responding earlier but my work schedule is such that I didn't get the messages until sometime after you all had sent them. Then I had other deadlines and only now was able to get back to the original problem I had asked for help to solve. Anyway, as always I appreciate every single response given to me from this list. Hi, Deb, I cannot answer your Word question, but you can do hanging indents in Duxbury with theCtrl-R command or in the codes list: Ptys. Good luck. I've also had a problem with Word inserting outline formats where I don't want them. I think I have that problem solved, however, and I do have a Word Manual I might add ... have looked at it extensively ... but anyone familiar with Word would sure be appreciated. > > I'd do this thing in Duxbury in a New York minute--complete with pipeline across the road to my favorite pub--if I could but I'm afraid if I do it in Duxbury and then convert it to Word all the formatting will go haywire anyway ... and I don't know if I can do hanging indents in Duxbury either. > > Oh and just so you know: someone familiar with Word was having problems getting the format to work, too, so it's not _all me--well, not quite anyway. <g< > > Thanks for listening, > > Deb B. * * * * This message is via list duxuser at freelists.org. * To unsubscribe, send a blank message with * unsubscribe * as the subject to <duxuser-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>.
