If a filename extension somehow gets changed, you can simply rename the file back to the correct extension and everything should be o.k. You need to be careful when you correct the name that you don't leave the old extension as part of the name. In other words, change file.txt to file.dxb, not file.dxb.txt or file.txt.dxb. Once the extension is correct and you double click on it one of two things will happen. Hopefully, the correct program will open the file. If not, you should get a message from Windows asking for the name of the program that goes with that file. Good luck!
