Hi Steve,

I did try that yesterday and it didn't work. However, my boss thinks that
when I did Windows Updates--do I _ever want to do that again??? ... He
thinks that somehow it took away the file associations that made my job so
much easier. He's given me the info to try and fix it and I'm going to work
on it this afternoon.

I was able to open one file at work using the original file so that was
wonderful!!! So now I just need to fix the problem at home.

Thanks so much for yhour help,

Deb B. (who always appreciates your suggestions)

Deb,

Try renaming the .txt file to a .dxp file and see how it opens in DBT. It
sounds like your original file got renamed, although I can't think of any
reason why that should have happened. I don't know what to tell you about
the other file you got.
