I now have a !TransPNG loader that seems to be working, at least on
the limited testing I have done. Dragging a png into a frame in OPro
now loads and displays the image.
A bit more than a minutes work - the converter binary I had from 2012
actually knew about sprite, jpeg, png and would convert between any
of them in both directions (and required several cmd line parameters
to work), so I pulled everything out of the source that wasn't
relevant to PNG->sprite. When I came to compile it I found that I had
modified my development hard drive setup since 2012, so I had to make
a few more mods so that the compiler could find all the relevant
files.
Anyway, I'll do a bit more testing and then put a test version up on
my web site for anyone to try at their peril.
