May depend how you extract from the Draw file - does the application
understand the full range of sprites and does it save to a format which
supports the full range of colours.
For example saving to a GIF file would often lose you a lot of colour
resolution.
Maybe back to Andy Ling's idea - reference pictures, that way you get to
keep the original PNG or whatever.
