Hi,
If you have auto link frames and delete pages - then "nothing happens" -
at least assuming you have the preferences for automatic page creation
ticked. Any local frames on the deleted pages will however vanish.
The trick here is to delete the text in the auto link stories before
deleting the pages. Or twiddle the automatic page creation flag.
This is the common complaint "I used delete/insert pages and nothing
happened" - yeah because every page you delete/insert results in another
page being added/removed to fit in the auto link text.
If you have hand linked frames then the delete page will actually do
nothing, and you'll have to unlink the chains by hand.
I'd see the above as being the only catch in this procedure.
