That's how I was doing it, inserting the new chapter between the original
I was also adding suitable temporary text annotations at the places in the
chapter and copy where I wanted the break, just to make it easier to see.
It appears from my reading today, that my quest for an easy way is a dead
quest and that the old rigmarole of manually deleting bits of text here
and there, then frames here and there is the only way, and one I was
trying to avoid.
However, thank you everyone who has contributed, much appreciated.
Later (Nb.) I'll copy and paste the relevant suggestions out of the
postings into one document, then print out to study.
