It gets frustrating at times. :-( For instance. I FINALLY managed to
get Kunbuntu installed yesterday on the other computer. Had already
downloaded the iso file while running Linux, and kept trying this and
that to mount the damn thing and nothing worked! If I had hair to spare,
I would have pulled it out!

I think they do this sh!t on purpose sometimes! :-O So what did I do?
What any normal person would do, re-booted, fired up Windows 2000,
downloaded the iso (again), go to the other (this) computer, fire up
Nero, and burn a CD of the downloaded iso file, take the cd, go back to
the other computer, reboot BACK into Linux, and then install KDE. Pretty
damn simple if you ask me!

The saga continues....

I still have KDE to install on this computer. After all of the drama on
the other machine, I just KNEW this would a cakewalk! So I do EXACTLY
the SAME DAMN THING on this machine, that I did on the other machine and
guess what? Almost THREE hours later, for some reason(s) it can't
download the needed files and blah, blah, blah AND blah! I even took a
two hour nap during this also! :-O If it had a slow Internet connection
or a VERY busy ftp/http site, I could understand, but it's a god
forsaken CD! WTF? It took no more than 10 minutes to install KDE on the
other machine, all of a sudden this machine has problems? LIke I said,
it gets pretty damn frustrating at times. NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING can
be THIS difficult! I may not be the brightest bulb in the string, but
sometimes this really does insult my intelligence! You really shouldn't
have to have a doctorate to install a simple program and/or package, or
to mount a hd/partition/cd, in fact, I'm STILL trying to figure out how
to mount the partitions on my SATA drives! It (Device Manager) says the
drive is /dev/sda*, but it won't recognize that when I try and mount
them as such. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I need a drink....
