And while we're at it has anyone found a good Linux reference online, downloadable or in print or printable? Not specifically one for Ubantu but a generic but recent Linux command and operations reference. If this all works out I may just switch most if not all of my working machines now that I have a distro that is worth the time to install. Of course I have to maintain proficiency on both OS's since I service Windows based machines so the next special ops when I have time is to get a decent dual or multi boot setup going - my wife's machine is already dual (98Se and XP) due to her sewing machine's embroidery software (not putting out $800 for the newest version just to go to XP with it) so I am used to multi just not with non-Windows involved. > -----Original Message----- > From: computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:computertalkshop-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Russ Blakeman > Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 1:55 PM > To: Computer Talk Shop List > Subject: [CTS] Speaking of Linux... > > > John probably can answer this - looking for a suitable replacement for > Quickbooks/QB Pro for Linux or even Linux and Winders that can read my > present QB Pro 2003 data files.
