HP has a new legal size scanner called the ScanJet 8200. The device costs
$499. For more information please open the following web page:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/ho/WF06b/15179-64195-215155-15202-f17-214599-214601-214602.html
I do not know if it has already been tested with either Kurzweil 1000 or
Openbook.

[bookshare-discuss] Re: scanners

Hi Kellie, how can one get them fixed? I have an HP 6100c that is about to
give up. It is a legal size, it is fast and I just love it. Is it very
expensive to have those repaired? It is great for scanning big books so if
by chance I cannot get it repaired, what would be a good replacement for
it?

Thanks.
Vic

Hi Vickie,
I've got one of those too and I love it. Guard yours with your life; you
can't get them anymore.
Kellie
