Hi, Sue. Here's one thing I do if I do seem to be having trouble. Go into
the field with forms mode. Do a select all just like you would in any other
word processor with a Control-A. Then, paste the text into Notepad or
something else. You can cut and paste comfortably from there, then when
you're done, go back into the synopsis field, again doing a control-A to
make sure all the text stays selected. Then, paste the text you've edited
back into the field. I don't think I'm saying this exactly how I meant to
but hopefully you understand what I mean. Take care.

I really started a thread here. <smile> Actually, I was speaking of the
long synopsis. Some submitters just paste the whole info from the book
jacket in for the long synopsis. Gerald said it is illegal to use praise
quotes and where they are from in the long synopsis. So, as a validator, I
would want to remove those quotes, and they are sometimes in the middle of
the long synopsis.
Now for you, Kellie. You got it. I have trouble selecting the text that
needs to be deleted or cut, when in the edit field and in forms mode. Is
there an easy way to do this? And if so, what are the commands?
