[bookport] Re: help please

I have found that my Bookport only connects if I connect it and then start 
the software.  Does anyone know why this is?  If the softwre is up and then 
I connect, I hear the USB connection alert but the bookport is not 
connected unless I shut down the transfer software and reload it.  Is this 
normal.
