That is true, but the CNIB, well at least I think, get a few of there books
from the library of congress. I love that library. I hate the one in british
columbia, would rather read braille then have those narators drone on and on
and on. They sound too...well they have to much expression, or sometimes not
enough. But, yes, I just remembered that USA cidizens could not access CNIB.

True, but the publishers would not allow us to read their copyrighted books
if they were made availablwe to people world-wide. But the Canadians get us
back: U.S. citizens cannot access CNIB digital books either. Nor can we
access RNIB digital books. I would love to be able to access those also.
But I'm not allowed. So "discrimination" works both ways.

Unfortunately, you have to be eligible for services of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, which means a U.S. citizen with perhaps some additional qualifications, such as a US resident; I do not know all the specific requirements. But in general, Web Braille services are available only to those in the U.S. You have to have a user name and password obtained from a local state library for the blind. It has to do with U.S. copyright protection, among other things.

Also, can anyone join webbraille, or do you have to be a US citizen? I wrote to ask them, but no one replied. Cheers, Shell.
