There are tactile markings inside the battery compartment.  In spite of =
their small size I find them useful and quite able to be felt.  I can =
see how this would be difficult for someone with larger fingers or =
reduced feeling in their fingers.  BTW, I also prefer the clips.

I too like the clips.  What I did, to help my memory was to put a dymo =
tape=20
dot on the inside of the battery cover where the positive terminal goes.

Perhaps, with little difficulty, the battery cover could have a tactile =
dot=20
added to show the direction the batteries should point.
