Man, I *really* wish we had the compressed speech on the Bookport. This would sure make listening to the lectures I record on my RCA recorder a whole lot better. My RCA digital recorder creates an MP3 file which is very handy to download and transfer to the Bookport. For that matter, I sure wish we could get a digital recorder to replace the APH tape job with the speech compression features.
