Hi, Fortunately my scanner has never had this problem. To prevent pages being stuck, try fanning the pages out a bit on the ADF tray before scanning. This will loosen up any perferated attachments remaining. I use the Epson GT-15000 scanner to scan my books. This scanner has the ability to tell you how many pages it scanned in one batch, and it is quite worthwhile, although time consuming, to count each page as you stack it on the ADF and prepare it for scanning. This way, if what the computer tells you is different from what you counted, either you counted incorrectly -- which happens quite often, even with people who have been scanning for quite a while (we're humans,) or indeed some pages were scanned simultaneously. Sanning gets to be kind of like rowing, flip, scan, flip, scan, flip scan, you get a rhythm going and all else kinda fades into the background until...holy hobgoblins, the book's been scanned! Then comes the fun part of proofing your own work, which of course, any veteran scanner can ttell you is often tedious work. We often see what we know should be there in our own works, so it usually takes somebody else who hasn't been slaving over the scanner for 3 or 4 hours to spot the errors. Like missing pages. Lol. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2007 2:49 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Missing pages.chapter > It happens to the best of us, Jamie.
