HI Praticj

Then if this is the simple answer then the simple solution should be have G
let the validator know what needs to be put in their instead of having the
validator guess what it is he wants. As E said, after having to go back two
or three times she just gives up

The simple answer to the question here is that Gustavo is unable to change
the meta data for the submitted file and needs the submitter/the validator
to do so. Sometimes the simple answer is the answer.

Interesting. I'm hesitant to too harshly criticize the way things operate
within this project, both because I've not been here for long enough to
truly gauge the things it does well and where it could improve, and because
I already appreciate what's going on here, mostly by volunteers, a great
deal. That said, hopefully these issues eventually become resolved. The
first two proposals I raised, (Gustavo himself correcting minor mislabeling
he already knows about and, short of that, leaving more specific kick back
explanations), have nothing to do with technical development, so far as I
can see. Considering the amount of volunteer work that keeps Bookshare
running, it's important, I feel, to understand that many people have
priorities ahead of the project. With that in mind, the time they devote to
the project must be used as efficiently as possible, and hopefully we as a
community can continue to work as hard as we do on this endeavor. Meanwhile
we will constantly be trying to promote its further evolution and the
optimization of the time put in by each individual volunteer.
