Yeah, like much more important things such as modifying, or even removing, the infamous stripper. Whether it's complicated for the engineers is not the issue, and I didn't say it was. It's a matter of time and priorities. The time taken to deal with this unlikely event could be much better spent on things that actually effect book quality.
