Piotr Brych is closing out his "Great Atlas of the Sky" in it gigantic, snap ring, leatheret, zippered binder with the clear overlays, for $99 shipped from Poland (was originally $260 and I think + shipping). Takes about a month and a half to arrive but worth the wait. He has a few dozen left. It has corrections the author found while using the first one. Would be tough to print all over again at $90 a pop. aj crayon -----Original Message----- From: az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:az-observing-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Steven Dodder Sent: Friday, November 23, 2012 4:30 PM To: Az Observing Subject: [AZ-Observing] Re: Star Charts Thanks for posting this one, AJ. I was going to mention this one. I printed out the C set on D size paper, (24"x36"), and it's the main chart set I use for the 20" at Stone Haven. At the time, I had access to a large format plotter. I bought a roll of paper, cost about $90, and ran it on weekends. I didn't plot the last 100 sheets from south of 40º because the chances of simply observing down under, much less taking the big charts was pretty much nil. I got the first release printed, but hop some day to print the second. It's awesome!
