Not to belabour the point... But remember that Ctrl-Z will undo the edit
you previously made too, and you may not remember what that was. I'd
avoid using Ctrl-Z to jump back in a document.=20

In Word of course (top tip here) you can use Ctrl-F5 to go back to
previous editing positions in a document without making any further
changes to the doc.

If you didn't make an edit then sure, the Escape Thing Other Thing is
fine, but if you did make an edit Ctrl+Z works fine.
