Not to gloat ..... I upgraded mine too and no problems. I sew a circle test to make sure all the needles sew properly. Just make sure you have not put any polymer on the red item or on the yellow rubber. If you accidentally did that , clean it up with soap solution. I used a q tip to put the polymer, in very minute quantity. I have always been leery of the dancing thread on the front and have been told by my tech that it is supposed to dance quite a bit and if it seems smooth and taut then it is way too tight on the MT. So it's like I tell my 7 year old about Chinese food, don't judge it by what it looks like try it, and if you like it, what does it matter what it looks like. Although, I tend to eat by looks... Well, Son "do as I say, not as I do!" Yeah that doesn't go over well at all either... I will get Rod to answer after I hear back... When the thread breaks there is usually a popping sound, I checked the hook timing but that seems to be ok, also new needles. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be going on?
