Some things we have campaigned for over many years but have seen little
change ... and we're still being asked to do so! <Smiles>
Think there comes a time when we rest from such things and leave it to
the youngsters, who may not do it, of course.

I miss the freedom of being able to go where I want when I want.
My long cane skills are very basic and I feel very self-conscious
using one (probably because they are so basic – smile)!
Locally, I know the cafes which welcome (rather than tolerate) my
dog so prefer to spend my money there and if I am planning to meet
a friend in an unfamiliar restaurant, it just seems to work better
for me to call beforehand rather than spoil the experience by
being challenged.
