Did you make it clear that you were talking about a Guide Dog? The only reason
I ask is that the message from the representative didn't make that clear.
Speak to your local GDBA team, they'll point you in the direction of the
appropriate legislation which you can then quote to the hotel.
I'd do this, but also find an alternative. You could spend time trying to
persuade/force the hotel to accept you and your dog, the experience may not be
that great, when you could find a hotel that was willing at the outset.
I do realise that this isn't always possible though.
