These two are socketed:

Character ROM (according to google search)
MOS
901225-01    
1982 CBM
2483AMD

Kernal ROM (according to google search)
MOS
901227-03
1983 CBM
0384

This one is soldered down (no socket)
Basic ROM (according to google search)
MOS
901226-01
1982 CBM
2482

Does this shed any light?

Just out of curiosity, what is the part number and date code on the 
kernal rom?
