Mark,

I take on board points 2 & 3 but can't understand point 1. It is
difficult to get people to walk when the green man and audio appear
without them first watching that vehicle slow to an stop. I cannot
believe people would 'press and go'.  If a delay was introduced, are
they not just as likely to walk as soon as they see the vehicle amber
under the same argument?
