[fx: measures self] could comfortably fit about 10 of me standing side by
side with a small gap between us in a 10m space

edging forward (geddit?) you can see there is an end to the rows after
maybe 15 or so. there's something at the far rear of the cave but you can't
quite make it out.

closing to 2m, you can make out that the skeletons are standing on the
floor of the pit. there are various loose pieces of armour and weapons
scattered at at the skeletons' feet.
