[pure-silver] Re: counter on Nikon FG not working

I wouldn't call it crappy I would call it "light." I acquired one when I was
on a quest to build the lightest possible kit for ling distance hiking. My F2G
has always acquitted itself well. Good luck on the fix

Not yet. Gotta get some lighter fluid.

I googled the question and found others asking the question, with the
same problem. The answers came from men who obviously knew the camera
well, inside and out. One of the men called the camera "crappy
anyway, so get another". I disagree. I love the way it meters with
that needle on the side, but anyway he then said, "if the fix doesn't
work, and you like it, why don't you just use it without the
counter?" I've decided to do that, IF I can't fix it. It advances
properly, and everything else about it works fine. Of course, I'd
rather have the counter working. I am going to try to fix the
counter, though, and I'll let you know. Thank y'all so much. I
always know I can get good, quick answers here.
