Probably, but then you lose control of RH of the print's environment.

For prints stored in archival plastic containers of good seal, there
are products that absorb pollutants. It's frequently mentioned in
conservation literature. I think Kodak has a technical note on
polysulfide treatment of microfilm, in which such a product is
recommended.
