(Section 10) Added "Note down your possessions on a piece of paper in
case you should find them later and then make the necessary adjustments
to your Action Chart."
(Section 20) No change (though cf. Section 135 below).
(Section 31) Append "(you do not require any of your own Torches to use
the Tinderbox in this instance)" to Option 1.
(Section 35) Added "Note that the Jewelled Mace is a weapon-like Special
Item."
(Section 56) Replaced "the coastal fishermen of Vassagonia. You are
elated" with "the coastal fishermen of Vassagonia; you may record the
Jakan on your Action Chart as a Weapon. The bow [sic] may be of further
use to you sometime in the future. You are elated"
(Section 58) Added "The section corresponding to the correct answer will
inform you that you have made the correct choice. If you should happen
to choose an incorrect section, then do not return here. Go instead to
Section 156 [we decided 98 was better]. You only have one chance to use
the correct number."
** Unless otherwise desired, I'll gloss over further "puzzle footnotes"
(both turning from and turning to) as we should keep them as footnotes.
(Section 67) "Correct answer" puzzle footnote.
(Section 69) Replaced "discomfort." with "discomfort--erase from your
Action Chart all Weapons, Special Items, Gold Crowns, and your Backpack
but note them down elsewhere in case you should find them later."
(Section 91) Replace second Option with "If the fight lasts longer than
4 rounds and you win the combat, turn to 180."
(Section 135) Replaced first Option with "If you win the combat, you may
restore half of any ENDURANCE points you lose (fractions rounded down)
and then turn to 130."
(Section 154) Added "You may purchase any of the above and in any
quantity you desire, although you are limited by the number of items you
can carry in your Backpack."
(Section 168) Replaced second option with "If the fight lasts longer
than 3 rounds and you emerge the victor, turn to 46."
(Section 176) Added "Make the necessary adjustments to your Action Chart
and list all the items that have been confiscated on a separate piece of
paper, for reference in case you should discover them again later in
your adventure."
(Section 207) No change, save for the addition of a paragraph break at
the current footnote marker's location.
(Section 221) Altered Option 1 to "If you have ever received a Crystal
Star Pendant, regardless of whether or not you possess it now, turn to 336."
(Section 239) Appended to the first Option "You may only use Graveweed
in its Tincture form in this instance. You cannot make use of a
concentrated Graveweed potion, if you should happen have one."
(Section 288) Altered Option 1 to "If you have ever received a Crystal
Star Pendant, regardless of whether or not you possess it now, turn to 399."
(Section 320) Added "If you possess the Kai discipline [sic] of Hunting,
you are unable to make use of it in this desert wasteland to satisfy
your requirement for food."
(Section 331) Added "To solve this puzzle correctly, you will need to
use the Map with the above code instructions in mind before coming back
to this section. The three-digit section corresponding to the correct
answer will state that it is the correct solution to this puzzle. If you
do not see this note, you have chosen the wrong section, in which case
you should return to this section and reconsider the code before making
your selection again."
(Section 350) Added "(Erase the Sommerswerd temporarily from your Action
Chart. You may restore it to your inventory once the adventure is
over)." [sic]
(Section 373) Added in itals and centred "This section is the correct
answer to the code puzzle posed in Section 331."
(Section 382) Altered Option 1 to "If you have ever received a Crystal
Star Pendant, regardless of whether or not you possess it now, turn to 399."
