Hi John, Here is a direct link to the download; July 3rd, 2002. Norton AntiVirus 2002 Definitions Update file. English US http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download/us-files/0703i32.exe You can try it and see if it works. You may have a problem with the auto download. I updated my Norton System Works 2002 on one of my computers running Win 98SE and it required a reboot to install some of the updates. Norton's periodically has problems with its 'intelligent updater'. Mike ~ It is a good day if I learned something new. Thank you. i have thought of this as I am about due,but I reasoned that I would be unable to download if this were the case and as it is I am able to download but not install. Also I was on a philosophical forum and it seemed a lot of folk had this happen and said it attacked Norton so it was unable to update. Is there any place in my Norton that i can check this?? I live in Australia.
