Thanks, Larry   He's backing up everything on the 2 Vista computers right now & 
then will do a complete restoral on them.  The 3rd computer is XP & that's the 
one I opened up an Outlook Express email on for him.  He is having no problems 
at all in saving attachments w/the OE(he's having a hard time getting used to 
it after using Outlook for such a long time).  LOL
Thanks to you & to everyone for trying to help; he's thrown in the towel and is 
going to do the complete restoral on the 2 Vistas and start over again, 
though...   I sure hope he gets comfortable w/OE soon; he's driving me crazy 
asking questions about how to do this, that & the other w/OE  LOL   ...Paula
Have you tried the Mozilla Org equivalents which had had good reviews?  If
they work properly, it would lend weight to the presence of some type of
malware (maybe virus or worm).
