I have two problems, but think that they may be connected First, for the last few weeks, my AVG 9 (free version) has shown "C:\WINDOWS\system32\csrss.exe (720):\memory_00270000";"Trojan horse Vundo.LP";"Object is inaccessible." Inaccessible or not, AVG seems to remove it (not there on a few subsequent searches), but then it comes back. Malwarebytes (after Eddie B helped to get it back for me) never found it Secondly, for the last few weeks, about 85% of my Searches (whether with IE; Chrome or Firefox) are diverted. If I repeat the Search 2 or 3 times, I usually get what I want, sometimes not. The diversion is not to porn sites or anything like that. Often it is to EBay, sometimes to what appear to be other Search sites, such as Search Pro and Ask Jeeves. Occasionally, I get a single commercial site, selling pharma. products. The sites which I usually try to search are ultra respectable, such as Government Departments Does anyone have any idea what is going on and, more importantly, what (in simple terms please) I can do to stop it?
