Larry, Paula said in an earlier email that he had this problem with Outlook
2010, so he uninstalled it and installed Outlook 2007. Both versions had
the same problem.

I don't mean to come into the middle of a conversation, but if he is using
Outlook (not Outlook Express) and he has the original distribution CDs that
came with Office (whatever version), could he back up his *.pst file and
uninstall and reinstall Office to fix the problem? (This, of course, would
not work with OE.)

Your friend,

Larry
