If you are referring to my ongoing impossible problem with HP...the site says my computer HAS the current drivers installed already and then proceeds to tell me how to make THAT work..which doesn't.. It does print on it's own--test page, but just let me try hooked up printing and I get flashing lights and problems of sticky equipment ON the printer and all SORTS of JUNK printing out after the first page print. It's really like gothing writing in HUGE fonts. Just had one page with probably size 36 font on the right half the page from appears to be part of a note. Have NO idea where it came from. Then I get words all scrambled that LOOK like artwork..it are a mess no matter HOW I try to make it work. But my other printer does just fine...so I don't know. Sometimes I can get thru two pages and then it starts the funny stuff. ----- Original Message ----- From: "~OoO~" <SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 10:17 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: HP problem The typical fix should be to go to the HP site and make sure you get the most up-to-date drivers for that printer. Then, completely uninstall the drivers you're using now, and then reinstall the new drivers. Have you tried it that way? ::: Troth ::: ______________________ ICQ: 1717439 MSN: SirTroth@xxxxxxxxxxx Yahoo IM: SirTroth AIM/AOL: SirTrothX ______________________ ::: Original Message ::: Sent Fri, 13 Feb 2004 09:54:05 -0800 by milady | I have an HP printer version Deskjet 882c..it's own software doesn't work | with XP..I think it was "95-98" respectively.
