I like Oracle's DBMS engine. Every other piece of software that Oracle has
produced is pretty bad.

Metalink is not all that useful (IMHO) but it's essential for the few things
that it exclusively controls (patches).

I don't install the latest version of Oracle (I'm a big fan of "trailing
edge" technology). If Oracle insists that users test its software them I'll
wait until testing is over before I use it.

I resent the idea that just because a piece of software says "Oracle" in its
name I will know anything about it. I don't want to have anything to do
with most of Oracle's software.
