Rescanning isn't the answer to this very SPECIFIC problem. Again, I DO receive the ABC7 signal since last night, and also this AM, in all of my receivers, but it pixellates continuously. And it is the only one that does so, even though the other VHF station in DC, CBS9, comes in with very little signal margin now. Also: Balt NBC11 and CBS13, which also went back to VHF, are COMPLETELY GONE. Not even a pip on the signal monitor. I am getting 34 program streams, which means all the stations that I credibly could receive, and am only having problems with those that went back to VHF. One here, and two in Balt. On all of my receivers, with both of my antenna systems. Lucky for me, CBS9 does come in. Just as I have been fretting. The draconian power cut, when moving to digital VHF, was simply too great. FWIW, I just went to the WJLA site, and read a long stream of blogs compaining about the same thing. Turns out, many seem to have lost recpetion of both ABC7 and CBS9. Math does not lie. These guys need to get with it. I can only imagine what Balt NBC11 must be going through, having cut their power all the way down to 5 KW. Crazy.
