Check what version of WinFax he has. Should be 9.03 or later. If not have him do a live update. He might not have to uninstall - when I did, it was in trial and error, and though it confirmed the problem, reinstalling an updated version of WinFax didn't bring it back. So just updating might do it, but you then have to make sure he doesn't have WinFax integrated with Outlook.
