Now I really will *not* be drawn into admitting how long it is since I
trained and therefore how old I am! LOL Suffice to say too old to retrain

I too work in an organization that insists on two spaces.
However, the question is starting to be raised by some of the newer
employees. Of course the managers and supervisors insist on it being two
spaces, so I agree that age probably has something to do with it and I think
that it will change over time, as the new folks move into management.
