====================================
I've recently moved companies and discovered (by accident yesterday) that we
have an inhouse style guide which INSISTS on two spaces still. I guess
there is a divide between business correspondence and desktop based work
which will always exist, plus a certain amount of transatlantic variation!

I have NEVER done very well in the corporate world.

For a similar issue in another of my lives, I encountered such a "standard"
which I considered old and outdated.

I probably expressed that view incorrectly when I asked "who has to die
before we can fix this?"

I don't recommend my approach.
