There does seem to be a lack of understanding of how Outlook stores it's
info...
My response to James was on the wider issue of 'undeleting' files in the
Windows file system, rather than from within Outlook itself...

Not picking on James, here. I just picked his name at random for this
thread.
I'm a little mystified on this question and the answers suggesting the
use of an undelete program. These applications are for restoring items
from the file system. Outlook uses a database to store messages and,
because of this, deleting a message never actually produces anything
that a file undelete program will be able to see.
Ami I missing something?
