When I built my Tinkerbelle I fitted a gallon a minute injector, it only ever worked properly once, so I gave it away to a friend of mine & replaced it with a 1/2 gallon one which worked correctly. Reading all the current emails I wonder if the trouble was insufficient lift on the clack ball.
