I've always been struck by how annoyed people get when others talk on cellphones in public. (I see how you've qualified it, Judy -- just using you as a hook here...). Many train lines have taken to reserving 'quiet' cars for people who want to get a way from that. But I'm not sure I see a difference between someone talking on a cellphone in their train seat and talking to their neighbour in the next train seat. Perhaps what really annoys us is that we overhear only half the conversation. Ursula avoiding her marking as usual...
